Jan 08, 2021 — ‘Indy Turns 200:’ Sun King brews up bicentennial beer

INDIANAPOLIS — Sun King Brewery is toasting the city of Indianapolis as it celebrates 200 years.

The brewery released a special beer in honor of the bicentennial called “Indy Turns 200.”

It’s described as an applejack cocktail-inspired barleywine-style ale, according to Sun King’s website.

The ale is barrel aged in West Fork Whisky Co. barrels.
