Sep 16, 2021 — Local breweries are on the lineup at Valpo Brewfest

Prost! The 11th annual Valpo Brewfest will be back on tap from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Central Park Plaza in Valparaiso.

“After the difficult year and a half we’ve all had, we’re excited about the return of in-person events and are eager to support all the breweries involved, in particular our local breweries,” said Katie Abel, event manager for Valparaiso Events, which hosts the fest.

About 60 brewers will be on hand, with upward of 200 brews to sample.

“There are several local and regional breweries participating as well as others from all over the country,” Abel said.

The geographically diverse lineup includes Chesterton Brewery (Indiana), Lost Coast Brewery (California), Saugatuck Brewing (Michigan), Cigar City Brewing (Florida), Dogfish Head Crafty Brewery (Delaware), War Pigs Brewpub (Illinois), Shoreline Brewery (Indiana), Terrapin Beer Co.
